📋 Description

• Own the team’s outcomes for the iOS mobile roadmap alongside the Engineering Manager and Product Manager • Identify and personally own the highest-complexity, highest-impact engineering initiatives spanning multiple teams • Own the one-to-two-year technical vision for the mobile platform, including architecture, technical foundations, and investment roadmap • Partner with the Product Manager and Engineering Manager to define product strategy based on users, goals, and metrics • Drive execution of the mobile product strategy • Mentor and coach senior engineers in execution, judgment, and influence • Drive cross-functional alignment through ambiguity and organizational complexity • Lead the team toward AI-native ways of working, including technical foundations, tooling, and faster high-quality delivery

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in iOS development or related roles • Expertise in Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI, and iOS frameworks • Track record of shipping high-quality, delightful mobile experiences • Ability to work independently, lead technical direction, and operate effectively with limited guidance • Ability to manage priorities across multiple projects • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams • Experience working in 0-to-1 environments, including early-stage or new-product work • Strong communication skills • Demonstrated ability to mentor and support other engineers • Fluency with AI coding tools such as Copilot, Cursor, and Claude Code • Point of view on how AI coding tools change the way teams build software • Strong product instincts and ability to make tradeoffs between speed and reliability • Additional full-stack development experience across clients and backend systems is a plus • Authorization to be employed in the United States • Must address current or future visa sponsorship requirements for employment in the United States
