The Susan B. Anthony Birthplace Museum, Inc. is a nonprofit organization, dedicated to preserving the birthplace and raising public awareness of the great social reformer, Susan B. Anthony. Anthony was a pioneering feminist and suffragist as well as a noteworthy figure in the abolitionist, pro-life, and temperance movements of the 19th century. As part of its mission, the Museum highlights the familial and regional influences that shaped Ms. Anthony’s early life by displaying the textiles and furnishings of that period, as well as literature and other memorabilia associated with her later career.

📋 Description

• Serve as a trusted coach, mentor, and strategic thought partner to assigned Care Partners • Provide one-on-one coaching focused on case strategy, professional growth, skill development, and client outcomes • Offer feedback, encouragement, and accountability to strengthen Care Partner confidence and effectiveness • Guide Care Partners through complex cases and identify barriers, risks, and intervention opportunities • Develop creative, client-centered strategies promoting stability, self-sufficiency, and meaningful progress • Reinforce trauma-informed and strength-based approaches to client care • Help Care Partners establish client goals and evaluate progress and outcomes • Coach strategies improving client engagement, follow-through, accountability, and goal achievement • Support caseload prioritization, documentation, referrals, and follow-up • Identify cases requiring additional consultation or leadership support • Support onboarding, training, and certification of new Care Partners • Facilitate professional development, case-based learning, and knowledge translation into practice • Facilitate peer coaching and collaboration groups • Help Care Partners navigate state and community resources and referral networks • Identify recurring barriers, training needs, resource gaps, and emerging trends • Share insights, effective practices, and potential solutions with Care Partner leadership to strengthen the overall program • No direct supervisory responsibility; expanded leadership opportunities may develop as the program grows

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human services, Social Work, Psychology, Family Studies, Counseling, Sociology, Public Health, Nonprofit Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and significant relevant professional experience • Minimum five years of progressively responsible experience in case management, social services, pregnancy help, maternity housing, family support, or a related human-services setting • Demonstrated experience coaching, mentoring, training, or developing professionals strongly preferred • Preferred: Master’s degree in social work, Counseling, Human Services, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related discipline • Coaching and development competency • Active listening and communication skills • Strategic problem-solving skills • Outcomes and accountability skills • Collaboration and relationship-building skills • Strong commitment to serving women and families while advancing Her PLAN’s mission, values, and culture
