📋 Description

• Prepare and maintain financial statements and reporting requirements across the finance organization • Identify and interpret financial trends, income statement variances, and events affecting financial performance or reporting • Correct reporting issues and guide team members on reporting and audit needs • Provide direction and training on procedures, new programs, and processes • Communicate with team leads, department leaders, and employees to explain reports • Analyze complex data sets and translate analysis into suitable reports • Work with, train, and coach team members • Prioritize problems and resolve or escalate them as necessary • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and provide internal consulting support

🎯 Requirements

• Equivalent experience accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma • Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field • 5 years recent relevant experience • In-depth working knowledge of accounting and/or finance • In-depth working knowledge of financial analysis and reporting methodologies • In-depth working knowledge of data warehousing and relational database systems • Knowledge of basic accounting principles, including GAAP • Knowledge of policies, practices and procedures • Familiarity with performance metrics and ability to meet identified targets • Familiarity with OSHPD Chart of Accounts preferred • General understanding of ERP systems enabling technologies beneficial • Ability to learn new applications/software systems effectively and efficiently • Ability to translate data analysis into suitable reports • Ability to perform data analysis on complex data sets • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent project management, planning, and forecasting skills • Ability to provide constructive feedback to team members • Ability to process requests consistently with a high level of accuracy • Ability to work with, train and coach other team members • Ability to prioritize problems and promptly resolve or escalate when necessary • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Strong time management skills • Demonstrated leadership skills • Ability to communicate ideas verbally and in writing • Ability to recognize the appropriate communication style, level of detail, and message for the audience • Effective internal consulting skills • Ability to work with and maintain confidential information
