📋 Description

• Provide expert advice on hiring, performance management and discharge, employment disputes and wrongful termination claims, disability accommodation, wage and hour, employee privacy, and other labor and employment matters • Manage litigation • Oversee employee form agreements • Conduct training across all geographies • Supervise outside counsel and liaise with local counsel • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure employment practices are proper, understood, and compliant with regional legal requirements • Draft and maintain employment-related policies required for global operations, including ethics, anti-corruption, and anti-harassment policies • Support the human resources team through operational guidance and process training • Stay informed on employment and labor law issues affecting Talkdesk across its geographies • Balance competing priorities of various constituencies • Initially report to the General Counsel

🎯 Requirements

• Law degree required • Current license to practice in California or Washington State • Minimum of 5 years law firm or equivalent in-house experience • Demonstrated experience in international employment law • Superior writing and presentation skills • Superior communication and leadership skills • Self-motivated, organized, pro-active, and requires little hands-on supervision • United States-based • Willingness to travel to support and train in business geographies
