📋 Description

• Assist in training various specialty skilled and/or semi-skilled courses within a specified program • Utilize knowledge of adult learning theories and learning styles to maximize learner success and course instruction effectiveness • Perform online and/or classroom instruction • Provide field-based skills training • Provide technical assistance in a specialty area • Use a variety of media to present course material • Assist in creating new and/or updating curriculum content when necessary to meet learner needs • Maintain technical competence and skills • Report to the Training Manager

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Three years of experience in operation, maintenance, design, construction, or regulation of water utility systems • One year of experience in training adults, may include on-the-job training • Must have a valid motor vehicle operator’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment • Texas Class "B" Water license • Texas Class "B" Wastewater license, or Wastewater Collection II or III • 60 hours of classroom instructional experience OR completion of approved Instructor training courses • Methods of Teaching OR Effective Instructional Techniques • Instructional Design and Evaluation OR Organizational and Use of Training Materials • TCEQ Sponsor Requirements must be met, or the ability to attain them within 6 months of employment • Equivalency: Associate’s degree with five years of experience in operation, maintenance, design, construction, or regulation of water utility systems OR High School Diploma/GED with seven years of such experience • Applicants are subject to a criminal history investigation • Employment is contingent upon verification of credentials and/or other required information
