Tante Else hosts events, sells limited sustainable merch, operates a customer/loyalty card, and is actively engaging the community — including plans to convert the GmbH into a gemeinnützige gGmbH to enable volunteer and community-led ownership models and ensure continued operation through at least the end of 2026. The business emphasizes regional sourcing, sustainability, and creating a meeting space for customers and local producers.

📋 Description

• Conduct structured audits of shop performance • Analyze shop and visitor behavior to identify conversion opportunities and purchase process barriers • Use Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics and other data sources • Evaluate qualitative insights from heatmaps, session recordings, customer service feedback, surveys and social media comments • Derive targeted measures for conversion optimization • Concisely prepare findings and recommendations for clients and account managers • Present and discuss analyses with project managers and clients • Develop effective roadmaps • Plan, execute and analyze A/B tests • Derive follow-up tests and continuously optimize key KPIs • Adhere to time budgets and clear processes • Proactively inform all project stakeholders • Further develop and expand the CRO area at tante-e • Contribute new ideas, innovative methods and creative approaches • Potential to take on team lead responsibilities with appropriate development

🎯 Requirements

• Completed degree (Bachelor's or Master's) • Excellent German language skills, spoken and written (at least C1) • Advanced English skills, at least B2 level • Professional experience in e‑commerce, ideally in data analysis, conversion rate optimization or business intelligence • Alternatively, experience as an e‑commerce manager or founder of your own brand • Experience in an agency or team environment with established processes and reporting structures • Self-motivated and proactive work approach • Structured working style and efficient prioritization across multiple projects • Ability to communicate complex information clearly • Knowledge of Google Analytics • Experience with heatmap tools such as Hotjar or Microsoft Clarity • Ability to detect patterns in data and develop actionable solutions • Understanding of user behavior and UX • Shopify experience is a plus but not required
