📋 Description

• Collect data and apply data science techniques, including data wrangling, profiling, visualization, and statistical inference, to uncover actionable insights and build analytics solutions • Develop and monitor financial crime risk models • Translate business problems into viable data science solutions • Extract and prepare data using Python and other programming languages, apply statistics and advanced analytics, and derive insights from big data • Visualize insights and communicate results to decision-makers and stakeholders • Collaborate with data and business analysts, software engineers, data engineers, and application developers on scalable data science solutions • Improve business processes through data-driven insights • Educate the organization on hypothesis testing and statistical validation • Support continuous improvement, risk management, governance, and regulatory alignment • Participate in cross-functional and enterprise initiatives as a subject matter expert • Manage stakeholder relationships and keep partners informed about project progress • Contribute to team development through mentorship, knowledge sharing, and best practices

🎯 Requirements

• Undergraduate degree or advanced technical degree preferred in math, physics, engineering, finance, computer science, or a related field • Graduate degree preferred with either progressive project work experience or 3+ years of relevant experience • Graduate degree candidates with approximately 1+ years of experience will be considered • Hands-on modeling experience, especially with tree-based algorithms and advanced data analytics • Strong coding skills in Python and SQL • Knowledge of the AML domain is a plus • Experience with neural network architecture and transaction monitoring • Must be either a US Citizen or have US Resident Green Card authorization • Must not require current or future TD work visa support or sponsorship • Ability to perform sedentary work continuously and operate standard office equipment • Ability to concentrate for long periods and read, write, and comprehend instructions continuously
