📋 Description

• Collect data and apply data science techniques, including data wrangling, profiling, visualization, and statistical inference • Uncover actionable insights and build analytics solutions that guide decision-making and strategic planning • Develop, maintain, and enhance AML/CTF models and AI solutions • Support customer rating, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, emerging risk, model performance monitoring, analytics, and reporting initiatives • Understand business context and data infrastructure and translate business problems into viable data science solutions • Extract and prepare data, apply statistics and advanced analytics, and derive insights from big data • Visualize insights and communicate results clearly to decision-makers and stakeholders • Collaborate with data and business analysts, software engineers, data engineers, and application developers on scalable data science solutions • Improve business processes through insights, hypothesis testing, and statistical validation • Educate the organization on data science principles and mathematical foundations • Participate in cross-functional and enterprise initiatives as a subject matter expert • Monitor service, productivity, efficiency, risk, and governance issues and implement remediation or continuous improvement plans • Manage relationships with business lines, corporate functions, control functions, and stakeholders • Keep current with emerging issues, trends, and regulatory requirements • Participate in team development, knowledge transfer, mentorship, and cross-training • Perform occasional domestic travel and continuous sedentary, multitasking, office-equipment, concentration, reading, writing, and arithmetic activities

🎯 Requirements

• Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen or a U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder) • Must not require current or future TD sponsorship • 3+ years of relevant experience, or higher degree education and research tenure may be counted • Undergraduate degree or advanced technical degree preferred • Graduate degree preferred in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline • Proficiency in Python and SQL coding • Hands-on experience with advanced quantitative analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning • Strong communication skills and ability to present analytical findings to technical and non-technical audiences • Experience with LLM prompt engineering and performance evaluation is a plus • Knowledge of financial crime, anti-money laundering, sanctions screening, watchlist screening, or compliance risk analytics is a plus • Awareness of Responsible AI and model governance is a plus
