• Acquire and deepen client relationships through consultative engagement, product knowledge, and disciplined execution • Engage clients through walk-in opportunities, lead management, and outbound outreach • Conduct goals-based discovery to uncover client needs and priorities • Explain relevant banking options, features, benefits, and potential risks • Deliver personalized solutions and next best actions by connecting clients with products, services, or partners • Establish next steps and follow-up to support long-term financial progress • Educate clients on TD products, services, and digital capabilities • Engage clients on mortgage products and accept or refer mortgage inquiries • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with policies, procedures, AML laws, and regulatory requirements • Resolve client concerns end-to-end where possible and escalate issues when required • Identify opportunities to drive client acquisition, retention, and relationship growth • Verify client identification, maintain data integrity, and follow authentication and documentation standards • Complete required training and share insights, lessons learned, and best practices across the team • Participate in performance and development activities and collaborate with team members and partners
🎯 Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent combination of education and experience) • 1+ years of experience engaging with clients in a service, sales, or relationship building environment • Teller or cash-handling experience in a financial institution preferred • Experience educating clients on products and services in a consultative manner • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients and colleagues • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Sound judgment and problem-solving skills in client interactions • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar workplace technologies • Ability to complete required job-related training upon hire • Ability to obtain and maintain active registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) as required for the role • Notary License (or ability to obtain) preferred • Must be eligible for employment with a covered financial institution under applicable Regulation Z standards • Must be eligible for registration as a registered mortgage loan originator with the NMLS • Satisfactory criminal background check and credit report check • Required statements/certification regarding administrative, civil, and/or criminal findings by government agencies or authorities • Occasional domestic travel; no international travel • Ability to perform sedentary work continuously and operate standard office equipment • Ability to sit and stand frequently and walk occasionally • Ability to lift/carry under and over 25 lbs. occasionally • Ability to concentrate for long periods and read, write, and comprehend instructions continuously • Ability to perform basic arithmetic and apply common sense to standardized problems
