đź“‹ Description

• Oversee credit risk across TD's retail unsecured lending portfolio, including credit cards, personal loans, and overdraft • Provide independent risk oversight and challenge on portfolio strategy, risk appetite, growth initiatives, and portfolio performance • Partner with senior business, risk, analytics, and executive stakeholders to influence key risk and business decisions • Balance growth, profitability, and customer outcomes while ensuring adherence to TD's risk management framework and regulatory expectations • Oversee the creation, implementation, and validation of risk strategies across adjudication, exposure management, account management, portfolio segmentation, loss mitigation, and financial performance optimization • Focus on overdraft and depository-related credit risk strategies and support broader unsecured lending portfolios and enterprise credit risk initiatives • Act as the primary regulatory interface on risk issues and requirements for a key business segment • Assess and provide direction for existing and new regulations • Interface cross-functionally with teams beyond risk • Represent the business on corporate initiatives, identify key risks and implications, and provide direction in complex situations • Serve as a senior independent second-line credit risk advisor • Provide effective challenge and risk oversight of strategy proposals, policy changes, portfolio actions, and risk management practices • Lead complex analyses and communicate risk-based recommendations to senior management • Prepare executive-level presentations, risk assessments, and governance materials

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree preferred or progressive work experience in addition to experience below • 10+ years' experience required • Proficient PC skills in MS Office and a variety of PC-based analytical and reporting software packages • Experience with relational databases and Extract Transform Load (ETL) using common languages such as SQL or SAS • Working knowledge of SAS Enterprise Miner, FICO Model Builder or Angoss Knowledge Seeker • Strong analytical and problem solving skills to interpret data and draw conclusions • Flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing requirements • Extremely strong attention to detail with ability to manage a range of tasks and prioritize • Proven ability to develop and maintain productive business/peer relationships • Superb written and verbal communication skills • Experience developing and presenting recommendations to Senior Management • Ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously and adapt effectively to changing priorities and business needs • Proven ability to build productive relationships and influence decisions across business and functional partners without direct authority • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing executive-level presentations, risk assessments, and governance materials • Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex analyses, exercise sound judgment, and communicate risk-based recommendations to senior management • Occasional domestic travel • Ability to perform sedentary work and operate standard office equipment continuously • Ability to concentrate for long periods and read, write, and comprehend instructions
