📋 Description

• Teach for America is increasing our investment in our student outcomes strategy that combines multiple approaches to understand how our students are performing and use student data for program improvement. • Support collection of student data from district and school partners across TFA regions. • Build and manage strategic data sharing partnerships with school districts and state agencies. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with LEAs and SEAs. • Establish trust with district and state partners to facilitate timely sharing of student achievement data. • Serve as the primary point of contact for partner agencies throughout the data collection process. • Lead regional student data collection projects, including developing and managing project plans. • Analyze and translate student achievement data into actionable insights. • Ensure data collection, storage, and reporting comply with policies and student data privacy requirements.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience working with Local Education Agencies (LEAs) or State Education Agencies (SEAs) in assessments, student data systems, data sharing agreements, or a closely related field • Experience collecting, cleaning, validating, and analyzing large, complex student assessment datasets • Experience working with student information systems, assessment platforms, or other education data systems • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in one or more data analysis tools (e.g., R, Python, Power BI) • Proven project management skills, including coordinating multiple projects, stakeholders, and competing priorities • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and establish credibility with internal partners and external education stakeholders • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for a variety of audiences • Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, take initiative, and build or improve processes • Commitment to maintaining student data privacy and exercising sound judgment in the stewardship of sensitive information • Advanced degree or certification in education, data analytics, statistics, public policy, or a related field (preferred) • Knowledge of federal and state student data privacy laws and regulations (preferred) • Experience designing automated data workflows or improving data collection and reporting processes (preferred) • Experience facilitating data interpretation, training, or professional learning for educators or cross-functional teams (preferred)
