📋 Description

• Provide individualized and small-group speech-language therapy. • Complete evaluations and contribute to eligibility decisions. • Develop and implement IEP goals, monitor student progress, and maintain documentation. • Collaborate with the other SLP to coordinate services and evaluations. • Partner with teachers, families, and the special education team to help communication skills carry into students’ everyday learning. • Support continuity of care throughout the coverage period.

🎯 Requirements

• A master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. • An active Virginia SLP license is required before services begin. • Thoughtful clinical judgment and a collaborative approach. • Strong organization, documentation, and communication skills. • Comfort delivering elementary school services both in person and virtually. • School-based and teletherapy experience are helpful.
