📋 Description

• Serve as the primary G/L accountant for multiple network companies in transition • Clean up payroll and benefits liabilities, expenses, accruals, deferred revenue, accounts payable, liabilities, prepaids, inventory, customer deposits, and chart-of-accounts mappings • Report findings to the Sr. Transition Controller and flag significant issues promptly • Assist with GL/ERP migrations, system integrations, and testing • Reconcile balance-sheet accounts, including cash, credit cards, fixed assets, tax liabilities, and payroll liabilities • Modernize and streamline AP tools and credit-card transaction processes • Coordinate payment releases with network company Presidents • Configure GL account structures, segments, dimensions, and reporting hierarchies • Improve ERP, accrual, estimation, inventory, and COGS recognition processes • Prepare financial insights and establish reliable reporting baselines • Maintain audit-ready books and support audit, tax, and due-diligence requests • Identify control and process gaps and automate manual processes • Collaborate with MFP Controllers, GL Accountants, Teamshares, and onsite network-company staff • Train onsite staff, document SOPs and training materials, participate in knowledge-transfer sessions, and hand off month-end close • Help refine the onboarding playbook and KPIs

🎯 Requirements

• Experience serving as a primary G/L accountant for multiple network companies in transition • Experience with accruals, reserves, reclasses, and intercompany entries • Experience with AR standard practices, including payment application and collections hygiene • Experience with AP tools such as bill.com and Charted • Experience syncing and reconciling cash, credit cards, and payroll to GL accounts • Experience mapping legacy charts of accounts to a standardized chart of accounts • Experience configuring GL account structures, segments, dimensions, and reporting hierarchies • Experience with ERP-driven and accrual/estimation process improvements • Knowledge of inventory processes and COGS recognition • Ability to support audit, tax, and due-diligence requests with documentation and digital audit trails • Ability to identify internal control and process gaps • Ability to train onsite staff on new workflows and close responsibilities • Ability to document SOPs and training materials • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to technological and process changes • Ability to explain accounting concepts clearly to staff and teammates • Alignment with Teamshares values: trust, initiative, improvement, thoughtfulness, and dependability
