📋 Description

• Lead small- to mid-scale, multi-discipline engineering projects from programming through closeout • Clarify requirements, coordinate designs, document decisions, and ensure deliverables meet TEECOM quality and constructability standards • Maintain alignment with scope, schedule, budget, and coordination milestones while surfacing risks early • Deliver coordinated discipline designs, layouts, calculations, specifications, markups, and supporting documentation • Lead technical design reviews and resolve discipline-specific issues and coordination conflicts • Partner with Project Leads, Group Leads, senior engineers, clients, design partners, and cross-discipline teams • Maintain project documentation, decision logs, assumptions, and client-specific nuances in Asana, GitHub, and shared project platforms • Improve standards, workflows, tools, and templates through documented lessons learned and targeted Pull Requests • Mentor Designers and engineers through technical guidance, reviews, markups, coaching, and feedback • Support programming sessions, site walks, surveys, construction-phase coordination, pursuits, scope assumptions, OPCC inputs, and interviews • Cultivate client relationships through clear communication, networking, outreach, and problem-solving • Research products, codes, and design approaches to strengthen technical solutions • Maintain accurate time and expense entries and report accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electrical preferred, or equivalent experience • 6+ years of experience in AEC or related professional services • Demonstrated discipline-specific capability in ICT, Security, Physical Security, or Electronic Security • Experience leading discipline portions of mid- to large-size projects, supporting coordination, and guiding Designers or engineers preferred • Ability to deliver accurate, well-coordinated designs and make sound discipline-specific decisions • Strong understanding of project delivery workflows, client expectations, documentation standards, and cross-discipline coordination • Experience contributing to documentation updates, standards refinement, or QA/QC workflows through GitHub Pull Requests or similar platforms • Strong proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit • Strong proficiency in Bluebeam Studio • Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite and Google Workspace • Strong proficiency in GitHub • PSP/CPP certification preferred for Security • CDT certification preferred • EIT, PE, and PMP certifications a plus • Eligible to work in the United States • TEECOM does not sponsor visas • Ability to perform prolonged desk work and regular virtual and in-person reading, writing, and communication • Ability to travel occasionally to client sites and conduct surveys or inspections • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, climb stairs, and navigate construction or utility areas • Ability to bend, kneel, maneuver in confined spaces, and occasionally lift or move equipment up to 25 pounds
