📋 Description

• Deliver complex, multi-discipline projects as a senior technical leader and subject matter expert • Serve as Project Lead on selected projects, delivering work profitably and maintaining scope alignment • Evaluate project health, identify risks early, and keep projects on track • Lead discipline-specific design, coordination, documentation, and technical decision-making • Ensure design quality and coordinated, high-performance project delivery across teams • Document client-specific processes, deviations, design decisions, meeting notes, and scope clarifications • Contribute to discipline standards, templates, tools, workflows, lessons learned, and Pull Requests • Collaborate with Group Leads, Team Leads, Project Leads, and cross-discipline teams • Cultivate client relationships and serve as a trusted technical advisor • Support pursuits, interviews, technical narratives, proposals, scope assumptions, and fee inputs • Mentor Designers, engineers, and production team members through technical guidance, design reviews, markups, delegation, and feedback • Monitor project financial performance, schedules, staffing, scope, billing, forecasting, and delivery health • Participate in QA/QC, design reviews, training, recruiting, thought leadership, site visits, field verifications, and programming sessions as needed • Maintain documentation in GitHub, Asana, Callback One, and the Design Decision Log (DDL)

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field; or equivalent technical experience • 8+ years of experience in AEC or related professional services • Strong discipline-specific capability in Telecom/ICT, Structured Cabling, or Low Voltage • Experience delivering coordinated, high-quality designs and making sound discipline-specific decisions • Ability to lead discipline-specific portions of complex, multi-stakeholder projects with minimal oversight • Strong understanding of project delivery workflows, client expectations, documentation standards, and coordination requirements • Experience contributing to documentation updates, design standards, and QA/QC workflows through GitHub or similar platforms • Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit • Proficiency in Bluebeam Studio • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite and Google Workspace • Proficiency in GitHub • RCDD, CDT, EIT, PE, CCNA, and PMP certifications are preferred or a plus, not required • Eligible to work in the United States; TEECOM is unable to sponsor visas • Ability to perform prolonged desk work and regular reading, writing, and communication • Ability to travel to client sites and navigate construction or utility areas, including standing, walking, climbing stairs, bending, kneeling, confined spaces, and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds
