📋 Description

• Working as part of a care team for Teladoc Health Medical Group. • Provides best in class virtual patient care via video and telephonic appointments. • Order laboratory and radiology tests and refer patients to specialists when appropriate. • Be accessible to the Care Team to solve problems and keep the entire panel well cared for in a timely manner. • Analyze reports, test results, medical records and examinations to diagnose condition of patients and propose treatment options. • Prescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications and treatment regimens to treat identified and documented medical conditions. • Provide advice to patients for lifestyle and diet changes that may improve their health or help to treat the health issue they are experiencing. • Consistently meet or exceed clinical quality and patient care standards. • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all federal and state health information privacy laws. • Record complete, timely and legible medical records.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years post-residency experience as a Primary Care Physician in a clinical setting. • Board certification in primary care or related field from successful completion of a residency at an accredited healthcare institution in Family Medicine or IM/Peds. • M.D. or D. O. degree from an accredited United States medical school. • Current State Medical Practitioner License. • No disciplinary actions within the last 5 years. • Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) eligible. • Must reside in the United States and not require sponsorship. • At least 3 state MD licenses are required at time of hire.
