📋 Description
• Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and ongoing treatment via telehealth • Manage psychotropic medications, including initiation, adjustments, and monitoring • Deliver follow-up care and coordinate treatment plans for patients with varying acuity levels • Provide clinical supervision and support for APPs, as applicable • Accurately and timely document all clinical encounters in the EMR • Collaborate with care team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care • Maintain compliance with all clinical, regulatory, and TeleMed2U quality standards
🎯 Requirements
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school • Completed residency training in Psychiatry • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry • Active, unrestricted CA medical license, or multi state licensure • DEA license in good standing • Experience or interest in supervising APPs • Comfortable practicing in a telehealth environment • Strong communication skills and commitment to patient-centered care
