📋 Description

• Design and build data pipelines ingesting data from internal sources into a central warehouse • Design performant, well-documented, and evolvable data models and schemas • Build data quality checks and validation throughout the pipeline • Handle sensitive customer and user data through access control, redaction, and retention policies • Partner with product, engineering, finance, and revenue stakeholders to scope data sources and analytical tables • Enable teams to self-serve access to reliable, well-modeled data • Complete a collaborative take-home coding challenge in SQL/Go using GitHub

🎯 Requirements

• Willingness to collaborate with Teleport engineers on a coding challenge in SQL/Go • Builder mentality and experience building zero-to-one products • Expertise in data modeling and SQL • Extensive experience building data pipelines in Python or Go • Experience with a cloud data warehouse such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift • Experience with pipeline orchestration or transformation tooling • Experience handling sensitive data responsibly, including access control and data retention practices • Intellectual curiosity and willingness to master new technologies • Comfortable changing focus and working directly with stakeholders across the company • Collaborative, transparent, no-ego mindset and willingness to seek feedback • Go, mathematics/statistics background, and Airflow/dbt knowledge are nice to have, not required • Must live in the United States • Must be able to attend onboarding week in Oakland, California and occasional team events • Must be comfortable with background, employment, and educational credential verification • Must complete a take-home project that may take up to two weeks
