📋 Description

• Serve as a strategic leader within the Business Improvement Office, providing enterprise-level guidance, prioritization, and oversight across high-impact strategic, operational, and business development initiatives globally • Partner with business leadership and senior cross-functional leadership to drive strategic priorities and investment decisions • Own strategy development, financial evaluations, and value creation across the strategic initiative portfolio • Oversee and lead execution of strategic initiatives aligned with enterprise priorities, long-term objectives, and value delivery • Establish reporting and performance standards, governance structures, tracking mechanisms, and decision frameworks • Identify and escalate risks, issues, and dependencies with recommended options • Prioritize, sequence, and make trade-off decisions across competing initiatives • Hold initiative owners accountable for delivery, outcomes, and strategic alignment • Define enterprise frameworks, standards, and methodologies for evaluating, prioritizing, and governing initiatives • Own the integrity and defensibility of financial and business-case analysis supporting investment decisions • Advise business-unit leadership on priorities and investment decisions • Synthesize initiative inputs into enterprise-level insights, risks, and executive recommendations • Create executive-ready materials for the board, business-unit leadership, and functional leaders • Facilitate decision-making forums and ensure follow-through • Drive alignment across business units and R&D, Sales, Finance, IT, and other functions • Resolve cross-functional conflicts, remove barriers, and enable progress across interdependent workstreams • Build organizational capability and analytical rigor • Coach and mentor initiative leads • Travel domestically up to 25%

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s or higher in STEM or business-related field and 8+ years of Management Consulting, Investment Banking, PE/VC or internal advisory experience; or Bachelor’s in STEM or business-related field with 10+ years of experience in analytical, strategy, operations, project management, or business improvement roles • Demonstrated experience advising executive leadership on strategic priorities and investment decisions • Experience owning enterprise or multi-business-unit initiative portfolios, including governance design and value realization • Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with cross-functional and cross-BU stakeholders • Demonstrated experience overseeing multiple complex initiatives and guiding work across cross-functional resources • Strong analytical and finance capabilities, including proficiency in MS Office to synthesize quantitative and qualitative inputs into executive-level presentations • Experience conducting primary and secondary research, data analysis, and documentation to support business cases, operational improvements, and decision-making • Proven ability to operate with limited direction, manage ambiguity, and influence outcomes through structured thinking and collaboration • Experience in pharma, biotech, healthcare, or MedTech preferred • Strong business and financial acumen, including the ability to interpret P&L statements and assess financial impacts • Ability to create financial statements and NPV models for business cases as well as M&A and strategic partnerships • Analytical skills with the ability to structure ambiguous problems and synthesize insights • Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills suitable for leadership audiences • Strong organizational and prioritization skills across multiple concurrent initiatives • Comfortable working with ambiguity, evolving scope and competing priorities • Project management, executive-level presentations and financial modeling • Domestic travel up to 25%
