📋 Description

• Build and configure shared and client-specific production, non-production, and disaster recovery environments • Perform server installations, configurations, deployments, and OS upgrades using Microsoft technologies • Execute SQL Server database backups/restores, manage user permissions, and deploy T-SQL scripts • Manage Active Directory users, groups, delegation, and domain environments • Lead server and application migrations while minimizing downtime and optimizing performance • Develop PowerShell scripts and system reports using SQL Report Builder • Triage, analyze, and coordinate resolution of complex technical issues across applications and platforms • Provide technical guidance and support to client IT teams, including after-hours support during critical releases and busy periods • Create and maintain technical documentation and service catalogs • Ensure security and performance standards • Collaborate with client IT teams on infrastructure decisions, migrations, modernization projects, releases, and go-lives

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience • 3–5+ years of relevant infrastructure and systems administration experience • Hands-on experience with Windows Server 2012–2019, including installation, configuration, management, and IIS • Strong SQL Server management skills, including T-SQL and SSRS • Experience with database backup/restore, user permissions, and script deployment • Advanced PowerShell scripting knowledge • Practical experience with VBScript, CMD, and SQL scripting • Experience with Active Directory or LDAP in domain environments • Knowledge of N-Tier applications using IIS, .NET services, and SQL Server • Working experience with Microsoft Azure, including Storage, ASG, VMs, and Azure DB • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills • Ability to manage multiple assignments and think systematically • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to explain complex technical solutions to diverse audiences • Knowledge of Octopus Deploy or Azure DevOps Pipeline is nice to have • Experience with Azure Serverless, Azure Container Instance, Kubernetes, and Docker is nice to have • Familiarity with AWS and Google Cloud Platform is nice to have • Experience with Agile methodologies, Scrum, or Kanban is nice to have • Practical experience or working knowledge of .NET development using VB.Net or C# is nice to have • English knowledge is required for Quebec candidates when regularly interacting in English or using English applications/software • Successful Government of Canada Personnel Security Screening may be required as a condition of employment for applicable data-center/client-service functions
