📋 Description

• Perform field and/or laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials including soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel • Communicate with project managers, engineering technicians, client representatives, contractors’ representatives, and others regarding construction sites, project requirements, testing, observations, inspections, and results • Transport material samples and identifying documentation to the laboratory for further testing and analysis • Tabulate, prepare, and submit data and observations in written and digital reports for daily transmittal to the Terracon Project Manager • Maintain and clean equipment, vehicles, and work areas • Assist with scheduling and dispatch of Technicians to project sites • Work under close supervision of higher-level technicians or staff professionals • Provide clear documentation of findings and results • Communicate information to the Project Manager and discuss data accuracy before submittal • Submit documentation and communicate results as directed by the Project Manager • Progressively assume increased training and responsibility in work assignments • Follow safety rules, perform pre-task planning, report safety issues, and maintain quality standards on all projects

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent • A valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history may be required • Obtain ACI certification within 6 months to 1 year • Successful completion of related internal safety certifications • Obtain Nuclear Density Gauge certification within 6 months to 1 year (preferred) • 6 months experience (preferred)
