📋 Description

• Provide engineering and consulting services for transportation projects and clients • Perform and/or lead field investigations, engineering analysis, calculations, and recommendations • Design and develop plans and specifications • Conduct observation and inspection and prepare, write, and review related reports • Review drawings and construction for compliance with plans and specifications • Prepare proposals and cost estimates; track and evaluate project progress and budgets; recommend changes • Research and resolve design and construction problems • Assign, review, and evaluate laboratory or field data for reports • Collaborate with engineers and project managers on bridge, marine structure, and infrastructure foundation design • Develop site characterization reports and geotechnical design recommendations for earthwork • Perform soil-structure interaction, geotechnical, dynamic, finite element, foundation, and retaining wall analyses • Identify geotechnical risks affecting design, construction costs, and schedules • Lead safety, quality monitoring, project risk management, technical training, marketing, sales, and business development • Provide technical direction, review complex investigations and reports, and supervise less experienced engineers or technical personnel

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering • Minimum of 8-11 years of experience • Professional Engineer (PE) registration • Transportation experience with DOTs • Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history • Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering (preferred) • 10+ years of experience (preferred)
