📋 Description

• Act as independent oversight observing and reporting on supplier performance for assigned projects. • Apply general fabrication shop knowledge to oversee suppliers including schedule, submittal oversight, and resources. • Collaborate with internal technical and commercial teams to ensure fidelity to contract and technical direction with suppliers. • Track and report work progress to schedule. • Monitor in-process fabrication documents, including travelers, NDE and inspection reports, and weld records, for completion and accuracy. • Confirm approved and current shop fabrication documentation at workstations. • Monitor and report day-to-day fabrication and inspection processes. • Provide technical oversight of supplier projects with the Project Support Engineer and engineering Technical Representative. • Support QA during hold/witness points and surveillances as needed. • Review and report discrepancies or conflicts and gather information for Engineering. • Coordinate Natrium technical review of supplier deliverables and ensure appropriate responses. • Coordinate technical interfaces between supplier projects and the Natrium technical team. • Support contract administration and commercial activities as needed. • Maintain awareness of supplier technical capabilities, organizational changes, and relationships. • Review final data packages in process. • Verify packaging, weight, and markings, and monitor loading for shipment. • Issue weekly reports.

🎯 Requirements

• Technical degree preferably in mechanical, electrical, chemical, nuclear, systems, or civil engineering, or equivalent training and experience. • 10–20 years’ experience in supplier oversight required. • In-depth understanding of fabrication travelers, welding, and similar manufacturing processes. • Familiarity with the UL 508A standard for assemblies of components, including control circuit components and motor controllers preferred. • Experience understanding supplier work scope defined in contract documents and providing direction and oversight of supplier projects required. • Demonstrated skills interfacing with suppliers in manufacturing environments. • Demonstrated skills supporting contractual/commercial aspects of customer/supplier relationships. • Previous experience interfacing technically with engineering groups for review and input to supplier activities. • Broad understanding of ASME and AWS codes. • Strong communication skills desired. • High degree of trust and integrity, open communication, respect, and desire to foster teamwork. • Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods, bend/stoop, grasp/grip, and perform fine motor tasks. • Ability to safely lift up to 25 pounds. • Ability to perform prolonged repetitive work and visually/audio-focused work. • Ability to work in stairs, typing/keyboard, and standard or sitting environments for more than 8 hours per day, with occasional manufacturing-environment work. • Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% as supplier oversight requires. • Must comply with U.S. Government export-control requirements; applicants may need to identify U.S. citizenship/nationality, asylee, refugee, or lawful permanent resident status, and foreign nationals may require export authorization.
