📋 Description

• Act as a project management lead for supplier performance management and oversight • Apply project management tools to oversee supplier cost, schedule, submittals, and resources • Collaborate with internal technical and commercial teams to ensure fidelity to contract and technical direction • Develop statements of work and project plans to execute supplier projects • Facilitate supplier selection activities for RFPs and bid, evaluation, and award processes • Provide direction and oversight of supplier projects and ensure delivery of contract deliverables • Manage technical interfaces between supplier projects and TerraPower’s technical team • Support contract administration and commercial activities as needed • Manage the submittal process and coordinate reviews of supplier deliverables • Maintain awareness of supplier technical capabilities, organizational changes, and relationships • Provide supplier oversight during scheduled and impromptu visits to supplier locations

🎯 Requirements

• Technical degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, nuclear, systems, or civil engineering required • 10 or more years of experience in supplier oversight required • PMP certification preferred or equivalent training • Prefer 3–5 years of manufacturing oversight • Understanding of manufacturing travelers, welding, and similar manufacturing processes • Experience defining supplier work scope, including SOW development, RFPs, and supplier project direction and oversight required • Demonstrated supplier management skills in design and manufacturing environments • Demonstrated skills supporting contractual/commercial aspects of customer/supplier relationships • Previous technical-interface experience with engineering groups for review and input to supplier activities • Experience with project controls, organization, tools, and processes required • Broad understanding of mechanical, electrical, and nuclear engineering disciplines and their interrelationships • Strong communication skills desired • Ability to safely lift up to 25 pounds • Ability to perform duties involving extended sitting, bending/stooping, grasping/gripping, fine motor control, prolonged repetitive work, visual and audio-focused work, stairs, typing/keyboard use, and working over 8 hours per day • Ability to travel 25%–50% or more • Must comply with U.S. Government export control requirements; applicants may need to identify U.S. citizenship or nationality, asylee/refugee status, or lawful permanent residence
