• Register every student with the NCAA Eligibility Center and track Core Course progress, GPA against the sliding scale, and transcript alignment with Division I and Division II requirements • Review student transcripts against NCAA Core Course, GPA, and sliding scale requirements and flag gaps proactively • Work with the academic team to close eligibility gaps before they become problems • Advise parents and student-athletes on current eligibility status, risks, and required next steps • Explain how eligibility intersects with recruiting, including coach visibility, official visits, and offers • Maintain accurate records of each student's Core Courses, GPA, Eligibility Center registration, and next steps • Send regular, clear updates to families on eligibility status, transcript progress, and upcoming actions • Collaborate with academic guides, coaches, campus staff, and the Dean of Parents to keep eligibility and transcripts aligned
• Three to Five Years of NCAA eligibility experience in NCAA compliance, college athletic academic advising, high school athletic counseling, or a similar role • Deep knowledge of the NCAA Eligibility Center, Core Course requirements, GPA and sliding scale rules, and Division I and Division II initial eligibility • Ability to evaluate high school transcripts against NCAA requirements and identify on-track, at-risk, or off-path status • Experience advising parents and student-athletes, delivering difficult news, creating plans, and gaining buy-in • Working knowledge of college recruiting, including visits, offers, and coach conversations • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to manage multiple student eligibility cases, follow through reliably, and keep families informed • Fully remote setup with reliable internet and a quiet space for video calls • Bonus: former Division I or Division II college compliance staff experience • Bonus: high school athletic director or counselor background • Bonus: NCAA compliance training or relevant certifications • Bonus: familiarity with multiple sports • Bonus: bilingual English/Spanish communication ability
