📋 Description

• Explore how frontier AI capabilities can shape the future of Dia • Turn ambiguous product bets into working software and recommendations • Evaluate technical approaches and clearly demonstrate tradeoffs • Build interactive demos, eval harness experiments, context-engineering experiments, and agent architecture prototypes • Work hands-on with new models, agent SDKs, and tooling patterns • Deliver prototypes with explainable architecture decisions for product-team handoff • Share learnings, approaches, and demos to shape team thinking and product decisions • Improve prototyping and evaluation infrastructure • Work with product and engineering leadership while reporting to the Model Behavior Lead • Identify and propose explorations over time

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience building software • Engineering background or product/design background with strong technical understanding • Real-world experience building with frontier AI models, agents, tools, prototypes, or shipped features • Ability to show and explain something built with AI • Strong communication and EQ • Pragmatic, motivated by nebulous problems, and excited to work in a startup environment with quick product validation cycles • 4+ hours of overlap with team members in the Eastern Time Zone • Resonance with the company's values • Ability to continue to scale the team with these values in mind
