📋 Description

• Phone consultations • Full-time position: Provides psychotherapy services to a caseload minimum of ~28-30 clients, including individuals, couples, partnerships with 3+ people, and families . Full time is considered 25 completed sessions per week . Smaller caseloads of 20-24 may be possible • Part-time position: Provides psychotherapy services to a caseload minimum of ~18, including individuals, couples, partnerships with 3+ people, and families . • Maintains case notes, logs, and all required documentation • Provide group therapy, as needed • Blog writing 4x/year, optional • Participates in weekly/biweekly individual supervision, weekly group clinical supervision available • Assists in the creation and implementation of G&STC workshops, training and seminars, as opportunities arise • Marketing tasks for self and G&STC, as needed/interested

🎯 Requirements

• Possess an LMSW, LCSW, LCSW-R, MHC, or LMHC and be licensed in New York • Resides in NY or NJ • Commit to a minimum of 3 years with G&STC • Education, training, and demonstrated success in implementing modalities, such as CBT, IFS, mindfulness treatments, trauma-informed practices, somatic treatments, and psychodynamic psychotherapy • Excellent written and spoken communication skills • At least 1 years of experience in assessment, treatment planning, and providing psychotherapy • At least 1 years of experience in providing individual, couples, multiple-partner relationships, and/or family therapy • At least 1 year of experience in providing therapy to LGBTQ+, kinky, and non-monogamous individuals • At least 1 year of experience in providing therapy for sexual related issues such as sexual anxiety, sexual functioning, sexual pain compulsive sexual behaviors • Must have a high level of competence with gender, sex, and sexuality with specific expertise regarding all or some of the following: working with lgbtq+ folks, alt sexualities, and sexual related issues such as sexual anxiety, sexual functioning, sexually compulsive behavior, sexual discomfort, and pain, etc • Organized and able to submit progress notes and respond to emails in a timely manner, and in accordance with G&STC policies
