📋 Description

• Independently lead investigations and manage complex claims • Analyze coverage, liability, and financial exposure; negotiate high-value claims • Draft coverage letters and interpret commercial coverages • Set activities, reserves, and authorize payments • Coordinate with experts for thorough evaluations and resolution • Serve as a subject matter expert for large losses • Ensure compliance across jurisdictions • Represent the company in litigation and mediations • Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders • Identify coverage gaps and enhance offerings • Mentor adjusters and improve training programs • Lead quality initiatives to streamline workflows

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience accepted • 8+ years of relevant experience • Industry designations (e.g., CPCU, AIC) strongly preferred • Extensive experience handling highly complex, high-value claims • Recognized authority in negotiation and resolution of complex claims • Demonstrated expertise in analyzing policy coverage, legal liability, and regulatory frameworks across jurisdictions • Proven ability to manage litigation strategy, direct counsel, and represent the company • Experience mentoring others and developing compliance protocols • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to draft clear, factual, and objective work product • Highly organized with proven ability to manage complex workflows • Deep understanding of insurance principles and coverage interpretation • Strategic thinker with sound judgment • Ability to perform work in a fast-paced and changing environment
