📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Industry Hubs for assigned industries • Develop and update underwriting guidelines, industry insights, risk profiles, best practices, and reference materials • Create content, tools, and resources supporting underwriting decision-making and industry specialization • Ensure industry materials reflect emerging trends, market conditions, competitive developments, and underwriting priorities • Research assigned industries to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and market developments • Monitor competitor activity, industry publications, economic indicators, and regulatory changes • Attend industry seminars and conferences as needed • Support industry strategies through analysis and recommendations • Assist with portfolio reviews and recommend potential actions • Develop training programs, presentations, job aids, and educational resources with Industry Solutions Directors • Support underwriter knowledge, industry expertise, and risk assessment capabilities • Contribute to onboarding and continuing education resources • Collaborate with Product, Actuarial, Marketing, Claims, Corporate Underwriting, and other business partners • Support industry-specific value propositions, growth strategies, and underwriting approaches • Participate in cross-functional projects to improve underwriting effectiveness and industry-focused business results • Advise underwriting leadership and teams on assigned industries • Respond to industry-related information requests and provide analysis for underwriting initiatives and strategic priorities

🎯 Requirements

• Commercial insurance underwriting experience • Bachelor’s degree in Business • 5+ years of insurance, underwriting, industry research, consulting, or related experience • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills • Experience developing business content, training materials, presentations, or reference resources • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to network internally and develop cross-functional partnerships to influence outcomes • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint, and Teams • Knowledge of middle market underwriting and industry segmentation strategies preferred • Experience working with industry data, portfolio management, or competitor analysis preferred • Professional insurance designations (CPCU, ARM, AU, or equivalent) preferred
