📋 Description

• Collaborate with State Managers, RVPs, RSDs, Underwriting Managers and Small Commercial Sales Managers to provide strategic business analysis at the Market and/or Agency level • Drive Commercial Lines business results based on growth-state or core-state initiatives • Analyze agency competitive position, economic and financial modeling, observations, and data interpretation • Analyze and evaluate loss ratio and production trends at the Agency/Micro-Territory level, including root causes and recommendations for improvement • Manage portfolio trends at state, market and Agency/Micro-Territory levels and identify outliers requiring deeper analysis • Communicate findings and recommendations to State Manager, RVP and RSD while influencing conversations and decisions • Coordinate and assess Agency/Micro-Territory-level reports, including production, mix and book roll metrics • Identify monthly and quarterly shifts in results and recommend follow-up analysis • Partner with State Managers to develop key success metrics and report progress toward goals • Achieve the annual Commercial Lines plan for loss ratio, premium, new business, profile improvement and renewal retention • Provide insights and thought partnership to State Managers on agency/Micro-Territory strategy • Participate in rate reviews, including preparation and follow-up analysis and assessment of competitive position and opportunity • Review competitor filings, collect field input about competitor changes and consolidate information into monthly reports

• Business and financial acumen • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment • Results oriented, able to proactively anticipate and guide one’s own workload • Knowledge of All Small CL products and state nuances • Working knowledge of SQL, Power BI and Microsoft Excel • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the insurance industry • Strong analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills • Ability to compile and synthesize data and apply judgment to interpret and draw out findings from analysis and reporting • Ability to influence without authority • Solid decision-making skills • Ability to train and mentor others • Demonstrated self-starter; ability to perform with little supervision
