It partners with educators and institutions to offer quarter, semester, summer, and custom programs worldwide, while emphasizing experiential learning, diversity and inclusion, and student wellbeing.

📋 Description

• Learn and maintain knowledge of IFSA’s brand, mission, and portfolio of over 100 study abroad programs • Assist Enrollment Counselors with the IFSA application cycle and admissions functions • Prepare and submit student applications to host universities • Process transcripts and review course selections • Correspond with prospective and current applicants by phone, video calls, email, and text • Enhance communication and outreach efforts to applicants • Maintain correspondence records and measurable data in Salesforce • Prepare reports as needed • Communicate the benefits and positive impacts of international experiences to applicants • Help enrolled students complete departure tasks and forms • Answer questions and support student communications • Develop content for communication campaigns and student-facing platforms • Create graphics about housing, course registration, and areas of study • Model IFSA’s commitments to inclusive excellence, intercultural agility, individualized learning, and enduring impact • Serve as liaison between students, Enrollment Counselors, and IFSA resources

🎯 Requirements

• Current undergraduate or graduate student • Experience interacting with cultures different than your own • Personal international experience through travel, work travel, or study abroad • IFSA Alumni strongly preferred • Enthusiasm for IFSA’s mission, vision, and commitments • Ability to work independently, be proactive, launch new initiatives, and set priorities • Strong oral and written communication skills • Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders from diverse communities and cultures • Understanding of U.S. college students and their interests • Sales and customer service orientation • Ability to support students with diverse lived experiences • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel • Experience in Salesforce helpful but not required • Authorized to work in the USA • Physically located in the USA for the duration of the internship • Ability to submit a cover letter and CV
