📋 Description

• Research and provide billing guidance supporting operational leaders in implementing new services and charge codes • Identify opportunities for accurate and comprehensive charge capture • Monitor, communicate, and assist functional departments with implementing payer and regulatory policy changes • Partner with clinical and revenue cycle leaders to ensure accurate telehealth billing and reimbursement • Collaborate with compliance and revenue cycle teams to audit professional claim accuracy • Monitor and resolve charge router errors • Partner with clinical leaders to maintain charge reconciliation • Monitor Revenue Cycle AI solutions for compliance and accuracy • Research regulatory and payer policies to assist with appeals of global denial trends • Manage payer denial trends for timely resolution or escalation • Monitor and ensure timely resolution of government payer audits • Communicate audit volumes and escalations with the compliance team • Own payer portal administration • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in revenue cycle or healthcare compliance • 3 years specific to physician billing and coding • A nationally recognized physician coding certification • Strong understanding of billing, coding, regulatory and payer policies, including telehealth billing requirements across commercial and government payers • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills • Excellent investigational skills • Ability to work independently • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills • Excellent time management and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, growth environment • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements • Required experience with Epic practice management system • Ability to support, advance, and live ThedaCare's mission and vision • Commitment to and evidence of demonstrating ThedaCare's guiding principles
