📋 Description

• Increase sales and grow territory AUM by calling on financial advisors and key contacts and conducting seminar presentations and client events • Develop and implement territory business plans with internal sales support • Build relationships with Hartford Funds’ strategic partners, registered representatives, and firms • Leverage data and technology to capture sales and market share • Provide marketing support and customer service to financial advisors • Develop and maintain understanding of market conditions and Hartford Funds solutions • Update advisors on industry trends and anticipate client needs • Support and participate in conferences and meetings • Adhere to compliance regulations, approved marketing materials, fund prospectus requirements, and licensing requirements • Complete administrative tasks, including CRM updates and expense reporting

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably business, economics, finance, sales, or marketing (or equivalent on-the-job experience) • Must be fully licensed (Series 7, Series 63) • Must be able and willing to travel 80% of the time • A minimum of five years of external wholesaling experience is preferred • Ability to build strong relationships with a proven track record of working effectively as an individual contributor as well as a team player • Confident public speaker and skilled presenter • Coachable • Impeccable integrity and sound judgment • Keen awareness of the industry, competition, market dynamics, industry trends, and customer needs • Sincere drive to achieve • Resourcefulness and superior problem-solving skills • Existing relationships with advisors and centers of influence in the territory (preferred) • Demonstrated track record of success in assigned broker dealer firms (preferred) • Additional industry designations such as CIMA or CFA (preferred)
