📋 Description

• Handle first and third party claims in a quality manner and meet high standards of accuracy and efficiency. • Display ownership in handling a pending of the company’s most catastrophic bodily injury claims. • Perform catastrophic claim investigation and claim strategy formulation. • Analyze policy language in conjunction with specific loss facts for coverage decisions. • Determine and execute an investigation and evidence preservation strategy. • Establish appropriate initial loss and expense reserves on complex cases. • Regularly draft and present Large Loss Notice evaluations and keep agents and Members updated on claim developments. • Own data integrity in claim and policy administration system.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of direct Property and Casualty Insurance experience • 5+ years’ experience in handling both auto and general liability litigated files, complex first and third party bodily injury, and complex coverage claims. • Proven ability to handle complex exposures in excess of $750,000 in value. • Experience handling litigated files, arbitration, and mediation. • A Bachelor’s degree is required. • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development including completion of one or more advanced educational or industry designations such as JD, MBA, CPCU, AIC, or CCLA. • Working knowledge of excel, word, and email applications. • Travel required up to 25%.
