• Oversee day-to-day intake operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of all incoming prescriptions. • Receive and review prescriptions for completeness, coverage criteria, and documentation requirements. • Conduct patient outreach to confirm insurance benefits, explain coverage details, and collect patient financial responsibility (copays, deductibles, coinsurance) in accordance with compliance guidelines. • Route prescriptions to the appropriate dispense partner based on payer coverage, benefit design, and internal allocation rules. • Proactively follow up with provider offices when documentation or required clinical information is missing. • Communicate with patients, provider offices, and dispense partners to resolve intake issues and accelerate time-to-ship. • Develop and implement intake SOPs, workflows, quality controls, and escalation pathways. • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, payer requirements, and internal data security standards. • Monitor intake Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) • Train, mentor, and support intake team members as the function scales. • Partner cross-functionally with Revenue Cycle, Market Access, Sales, Customer Support, and Operations to continuously improve intake performance and patient experience.
• 5+ years of experience in DME, medical device intake, medical billing intake, or healthcare operations as a team lead with demonstrated increases in responsibility in prior roles • Strong understanding of insurance verification and medical benefit workflows. • Previous experience using Parachute Health Platform or other ePrescribing platforms • Experience conducting patient benefit education and collecting patient responsibility. • Experience communicating directly with provider offices and patients. • Ability to interpret prescriptions, clinical documentation, and payer requirements. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Experience building or improving operational workflows and SOPs. • Leadership or supervisory experience preferred. • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. • Travel up to 15%+
