📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations to assess motor skills, sensory processing, functional abilities, self-care skills, and developmental needs • Develop individualized treatment plans based on each child’s strengths, needs, and family goals • Provide direct therapy services using evidence-based strategies, therapeutic activities, adaptive equipment, and sensory-based interventions as appropriate • Support children in improving fine motor skills, sensory integration, self-care tasks, play skills, coordination, and participation in daily routines • Educate and coach families and caregivers on strategies to support progress at home and in the community • Monitor progress through ongoing assessment and adjust treatment plans as needed • Complete documentation, treatment notes, progress reports, and evaluations accurately and on time • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and members of the multidisciplinary team to support each child’s care plan • Participate in team meetings, case discussions, trainings, and collaborative planning as needed • Maintain a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment for all clients

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program • Valid Arizona Occupational Therapist license • Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card • CPR, First Aid, and Article 9 training, or willingness to complete required training • Professional liability insurance, as applicable • Pediatric experience preferred • Experience working with children with developmental disabilities is a plus • Strong clinical skills in assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic intervention • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Highly motivated, dependable, and able to work independently • Compassionate, family-centered approach to care • Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team • Resume and brief cover letter highlighting pediatric therapy experience
