📋 Description

• Teach Algebra 1, Geometry, and higher-level math using Think Academy's curriculum, lesson materials, and instructional guidance • Lead virtual classes of approximately 18 students • Create a positive, high-expectation learning environment • Grade homework and provide timely feedback • Communicate professionally with students and parents about progress and learning plans • Participate in training, lesson preparation, and ongoing professional development • Work approximately 3–6 classes per week, totaling 6–12 teaching hours, plus grading, preparation, and parent communication for 30–40 total hours per week • Maintain a consistent weekly schedule once classes are assigned, except federal holidays

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university • Strong math foundation, comfortable with Geometry level or above • Math, STEM-related, or Education majors preferred • Availability during the listed class windows • Availability on at least one weekend day • Passion for teaching and supporting student growth • Strong communication skills • Strong service mindset and comfort initiating communication with parents, students, and the team • Openness to feedback and self-reflection • Ability to quickly adjust teaching and service approach • Tutoring, mentoring, coaching, or classroom teaching experience is a plus • Math competition background, such as AMC, is a plus • Remote work must be from the U.S.
