📋 Description

• Operates in the Technical Director role during Live Events and executes the in-game visual requirements and calls from Event Show Director, Producer, and Associate Director; including multiple discrete feeds (e.g. Clean Feeds, Aux outputs, etc.). • Builds and maintains TD files and switcher effects, intakes custom requests, prioritizes and problem solves, and drives communication and documentation to all pertinent partners and teammates. • Collaborates across the enterprise to plan the needs of the Event Operations team for specific productions. • Participates in planning meetings and prep sessions with partners in Content Production and closely related departments. • Participates in the development of fellow operations staff through training and workshops. Participation in training such as physical, mobile unit, classroom, virtual, etc.) for development and/or technology enhancements applicable to work within the operation. • Applies basic understanding of all professional and collegiate sports including year-round storylines, key players and games, strategy, and rules to quickly recognize and identify key moments, and anticipate the needs and choices of Show Director and Content Production staff. • Troubleshoot technical broadcast equipment, solve workflow issues and effectively communicate the issue and resolution needed within the scope of the operation. • Must possess a deep knowledge of technology of video, audio, graphics, and replay equipment.

🎯 Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years professional experience related to broadcast or technical operations including onsite experience with remote transport and transmission systems. • Professional experience in operating processes of remote productions and remote transport systems. • Strong knowledge of Production workflow and operating systems. • Strong knowledge of telecom services. • Experience managing and implementing multiple budgets. • Candidate must possess strong communications and interpersonal skills and organizational abilities. • Candidate must possess strong attention to detail and work independently in a demanding deadline driven environment. • Required Education : High School diploma or equivalent.
