đź“‹ Description
• Provide clinical supervision and support to PMHNPs in accordance with state laws and psychiatric board regulations • Participate in initial and ongoing chart reviews, case consultations, and quality assurance activities • Support PMHNPs in complex psychiatric evaluations, differential diagnosis, and treatment planning • Ensure compliance with regulatory and licensing requirements for psychiatric NP supervision • Contribute to ongoing clinical education, best practice implementation, and policy development • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management sessions • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans • Provide evidence-based psychiatric care for mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, ADHD, and other mental health conditions • Collaborate with therapists, case managers, social workers, and other multidisciplinary team members • Adhere to Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines • Maintain up-to-date clinical documentation within the EMR system • Provide supervisory/collaboration coverage for 5 hours per week and clinical coverage for 35 hours per week, approximately 70 sessions
🎯 Requirements
• Must live and be licensed as a board-certified Psychiatrist in the state of California • Medical Degree (MD or DO) with residency training in Psychiatry • Board Certification in Psychiatry (ABPN) • Active and unrestricted medical license in multiple states, or willing to get licensed in multiple states • Minimum of 2 years of post-residency experience • Deep understanding of the NP scope of practice in psychiatry and relevant state regulations • Willingness to treat patients 12 years old and older • Strong interpersonal, communication, and mentorship skills • Experience in outpatient psychiatry and/or telepsychiatry settings preferred • Familiarity with trauma-informed care, integrated care, and/or addiction psychiatry (a plus) • Experience with EMR systems and virtual collaboration tools
