📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management sessions • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans • Provide evidence-based psychiatric care for mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, ADHD, and other mental health conditions • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including therapists, case managers, and social workers • Maintain up-to-date clinical documentation within the EMR system • Provide direct psychiatric care with the option to take leadership and clinical oversight responsibilities • Provide clinical guidance and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team • Support the delivery of high-quality patient care • Impact client outcomes and the professional development of psychiatric nurse practitioners

🎯 Requirements

• Medical Degree (MD or DO) with residency training in Psychiatry • Board Certification in Psychiatry (ABPN) • Active and unrestricted medical license in multiple states, or willing to get licensed in multiple states • Deep understanding of the NP scope of practice in psychiatry and relevant state regulations • Strong interpersonal, communication, and mentorship skills • Must be licensed and located in the state of Massachusetts • Experience in outpatient psychiatry and/or telepsychiatry settings preferred • Familiarity with trauma-informed care, integrated care, and/or addiction psychiatry (a plus) • Multistate licensure or willingness to obtain additional licenses (if telehealth is part of the model) • Experience with EMR systems and virtual collaboration tools • Clinical availability of 35 hours/week (60 - 70 sessions) depending on caseload and availability • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire • Position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship, either now or in the future • Ability to remain sedentary for long periods • Ability to enter text or data into a computer through a traditional keyboard
