The platform lets customers describe projects in their own words, browse local pros across many trades (e. g. , cleaners, handymen, plumbers, electricians, painters, HVAC, contractors, landscapers), view reviews and cost estimates, message pros without sharing contact details until messaging, and offers a guarantee up to $2,500 if a job isn't done as agreed. Thumbtack provides consumer-facing apps and a separate pro-focused experience with resources, community, and tools for professionals to manage leads and reviews. It covers every county in the U. S. and emphasizes project guides, cost guides, and home maintenance plans.

📋 Description

• Serve as the voice of the homeowner and the professional inside Thumbtack. • Partner with product and senior leadership to shape product vision and strategy. • Lead Product Marketing to define positioning and product narrative ahead of the roadmap. • Set the strategic direction for Experience Marketing, connecting Lifecycle, Landing Page optimization and Content Marketing. • Partner directly with the CPO, CCO, and Growth leadership on roadmap priorities, go-to-market strategy, and commercial alignment. • Represent your team's strategy and results clearly to senior leadership. • Develop your team, create clear accountability, and foster an environment for strong marketers.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in product marketing, lifecycle marketing, or both. • Significant experience leading high-performing teams at the Senior Director level (or equivalent) within a high-growth company. • A track record of working closely with product teams. • Demonstrated ability to build positioning and messaging frameworks across multiple audiences and a complex product portfolio. • Preferred experience in a two-sided marketplace. • A clear point of view on how segmentation, personalization, and behavioral data should shape user communication. • Strong cross-functional instincts and trust with product, engineering, and commercial teams. • A commitment to developing your team and building clear accountability structures.
