📋 Description

• Own the long-term evolution of the TimescaleDB toolkit • Define and prioritize the toolkit roadmap based on emerging customer needs • Partner with Product, Sales, and customers to understand real-world workflows • Translate customer insights into intuitive developer experiences • Improve reliability, testing, documentation, performance, and maintainability • Balance shipping new functionality with long-term code quality

🎯 Requirements

• At least 2+ years of experience with Rust • Strong software engineering fundamentals • Contributions to Open Source projects • Experience building SDKs, client libraries, developer tooling, APIs, or platforms used by other engineers • Basic knowledge of statistical functions, such as last observation carried forward • Understanding of database fundamentals, including indexing, query execution, transactions, partitioning, and performance tradeoffs • Ability to work across product discovery and implementation • Ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative, globally distributed engineering organization • English language fluency is required
