📋 Description

• Provide therapeutic counseling services and treatment planning to a primarily young adult population • Document concurrently and submit HIPAA compliant documentation using TimelyCare's electronic health record • Develop and submit treatment plans and progress notes following each session • Communicate cross functionally with other teams/departments in order to support care continuation as needed • Adhere to established standards for documentation quality and code of ethics • Work with the student/client to establish and develop treatment goals and document accordingly • Utilize active listening skills and evidence based modalities (SFBT, CBT, DBT, MI, ACT) in order to build rapport, establish boundaries, and progress student/client care • Submit appropriate documentation in the EHR (the TimelyCare platform) in a punctual manner • Prepared to adapt to the changing needs of the population we serve • Able to remain calm and maintain composure during a potential high stress scenario • Respond with empathy, professionalism, and meet clients where they are at • Model respectful conduct with all students, peers, and support staff

🎯 Requirements

• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) • Active State License(s) in AK • Strong clinical documentation, assessment, and active listening skills • Experience with crisis intervention/de-escalation and safety/treatment planning • Background in providing services to young adults, adolescents, at-risk populations, and/or experience working in community mental health, crisis triage, or a college counseling environment
