📋 Description

• Provide therapeutic counseling services and treatment planning primarily to young adult students • Identify client needs, collaborate on treatment plans, and guide clients to appropriate TimelyCare services when necessary • Document concurrently and submit HIPAA-compliant documentation using TimelyCare’s electronic health record • Develop and submit treatment plans and progress notes after each session • Communicate cross-functionally with teams and departments to support care continuation • Adhere to documentation quality standards and code of ethics • Establish treatment goals with students/clients and document accordingly • Use active listening and evidence-based modalities to build rapport, establish boundaries, and progress care • Submit punctual documentation in the TimelyCare EHR • Provide 45–50 minute sessions within a 60-minute total session block

🎯 Requirements

• Required: Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) • Active State License in California • Additional state licensures are a plus • Preferred: Licensed Clinical Psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology, LP/LCP) • Strong clinical documentation, assessment, and active listening skills • Experience with crisis intervention/de-escalation and safety/treatment planning • Background providing services to young adults, adolescents, at-risk populations, community mental health, crisis triage, or college counseling • Valid U.S. work authorization required; sponsorship unavailable • Ability to use evidence-based modalities including SFBT, CBT, DBT, MI, and ACT • Ability to remain calm during high-stress scenarios • Empathy, professionalism, respectful conduct, and adaptability
