📋 Description

• Own the end-to-end product design process from discovery and concept development through prototyping, validation, developer handoff, launch, and iteration • Partner with product managers, engineers, scientists, clinicians, and stakeholders to define problems, prioritize opportunities, and deliver solutions • Collaborate with clinicians, data scientists, practitioners, and content partners to translate complex microbiome science into clear, trustworthy product experiences • Translate customer insights into product improvements using user research, analytics, experimentation, and post-launch feedback • Design intuitive and accessible experiences that simplify complex health information and empower users to take meaningful action • Move quickly and iterate often while balancing speed and quality • Champion product quality through interaction design, visual craftsmanship, systems thinking, and attention to detail • Contribute to and evolve the design system • Influence product strategy by identifying opportunities, challenging assumptions, and advocating for customer needs • Help grow the design practice through critiques, feedback, process improvements, and a culture of learning and collaboration

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years designing, shipping, and evolving digital products • Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design and measurable outcomes • Experience designing responsive web and mobile applications • Exceptional attention to interaction design, usability, and visual craftsmanship • Proficiency in Figma, including prototyping, design systems, and developer handoff • Ability to work with ambiguity and simplify complex or technical concepts into intuitive, user-centered experiences • Highly autonomous and self-directed, with ability to manage competing priorities and drive initiatives with minimal guidance • Comfortable working in a remote-first environment and collaborating through asynchronous and synchronous channels • Preferred: experience with distributed teams across multiple time zones • Preferred: experience in DTC health/wellness companies • Preferred: fast-paced startup experience • Preferred: remote work experience and proficiency in Slack
