📋 Description

• Travel to customer sites to install, fix, repair, and maintain machine tool equipment and controls • Troubleshoot CNC equipment using mechanical and electrical expertise • Use online technical documents, manuals, and vendor resources to research machine issues • Accurately document and submit machine issue, repair, and installation status to the office and customer • Promote and perform preventative maintenance on customer machine tool equipment • Provide after-sales technical support and training • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the machine tool industry and company-represented product lines • Report directly to the Service Manager • Perform related duties as required • Dispatch daily from home to customer sites throughout a regional territory

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated ability in mechanical/electrical repair or engineering desired • CNC repair background a plus • Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics required • Microsoft Office or similar software experience is a plus • Ability to use a laptop, smartphone, and various software applications • Excellent technical, communication, and presentation skills • Ability to regularly lift 40–50 pounds • Flexible hours • Frequent travel and driving throughout a regional territory • Strong mechanical and electrical proficiency • Ability to troubleshoot and repair CNC equipment • Ability to work responsibly and professionally in dynamic job sites • Ability to work in industrial environments and wear required PPE • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and reach for extended periods • Ability to work in tight spaces or awkward positions • Strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills • Ability to access all areas of premises and remain mobile • Ability to concentrate while prioritizing multiple tasks • Ability to sit for prolonged periods • Ability to perform bending, twisting, stooping, reaching, and lifting material up to 50 lbs. with assistance from equipment or other employees
