📋 Description

• Travel to customer sites to install, fix, repair, and maintain machine tool equipment and controls • Troubleshoot and repair CNC equipment using mechanical and electrical proficiency • Use online technical documents, manuals, and vendor resources to research machine issues • Accurately document and submit machine issue, repair, and installation statuses to the office and customers • Promote and perform preventative maintenance on customer machine-tool equipment • Conduct after-sales technical support and training • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the machine-tool industry and company-represented product lines • Perform related duties as required • Report directly to the Service Manager • Dispatch daily from home to customer sites

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated ability in mechanical/electrical repair or engineering desired • CNC repair background a plus • Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics required • Microsoft Office or similar software experience is a plus • Ability to use a laptop, smartphone, and various software applications • Excellent technical, communication, and presentation skills required • Ability to regularly lift 40–50 pounds • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job, including mobility, bending, twisting, stooping, reaching, lifting, and frequent use of hands and arms • Flexible hours required • Frequent travel and driving throughout a regional territory required • Ability to work responsibly and professionally at dynamic job sites • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and reach for extended periods • Ability to work in tight spaces or awkward positions • Strong hand–eye coordination and fine motor skills • Ability to work in industrial environments with noise, lubricants, coolants, metal chips, and other manufacturing conditions • Ability to consistently wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
