📋 Description
• Support and lead electrical engineering execution within the Engineering Design Team (EDT) • Provide electrical engineering leadership for ship alterations, modernization efforts, system upgrades, and integration of new technologies • Lead development and review of shipboard electrical design deliverables including diagrams and schedules • Ensure electrical designs comply with applicable IEEE, ABS, NAVSEA, and USCG rules, standards, and regulatory requirements • Provide senior-level technical support during shipboard installations, testing, and commissioning activities
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering (or closely related discipline) • Minimum 10 years of post-graduate experience supporting shipboard electrical systems, marine power plants, or shipyard electrical installations • Minimum 20 years of experience in the above without a degree • Demonstrated experience leading electrical design efforts for ship repair, modernization, or new installation projects • Strong proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite
