• Participate in a 12-week summer internship program developing technical, business, leadership, and communication skills • Gain insight into a Construction Project Management career focused on energy-efficient building solutions • Work on all aspects of construction projects alongside a Project Manager • Support project execution and complete objectives within defined time frames and available resources • Plan and coordinate assigned projects, establish schedules and project parameters, and set procedures • Generate tasks, estimates, dependencies, milestones, CPM Analysis, and Histogram Analysis • Work with engineering teams on programming and material selection activities • Establish and maintain operations budgets by revising estimates based on validated scope and monitoring forecasted completion costs • Prepare subcontractor requests for quotations, including scopes, plans, milestone dates, specifications, bonding requirements, and billing schedules • Receive and qualify subcontractor proposals • Help supervise assigned project staff, subcontractors, and installers • Communicate with contractors, subcontractors, owners, and team members regarding project scope, budgets, performance, close-out, issues, and information needs • Collaborate with peers across North America • Potential opportunity to join the Graduate Training Program after graduation
• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree throughout the entire summer internship • Preferred degrees include Construction Engineering, Building Management, Construction Management, HVAC, Engineering, or equivalent • Completed at least sophomore year or 2nd year before the start of the summer internship • Demonstrated knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods • Coursework or projects in construction or building systems, involvement in construction-focused groups, or related work or volunteering exposure • U.S. citizenship or legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future • Valid driver’s license held for a minimum of 12 months • Ability to provide proof of insurance • No major or frequent traffic violations, including specified violations within the previous 3 years • Role designated as Safety Sensitive
