📋 Description

• Extract financial data from tax, accounting, and information systems for analysis • Review and/or prepare tax returns, tax provisions, and financial and management reports • Draft and/or review technical memos and outlines • Develop non-standard reports and statements • Lead projects involving new tax laws and accounting principles • Research complicated tax law and accounting principles • Monitor tax law to ensure data integrity • Perform special analyses and projects • Offer leadership and direction to others • Evaluate processes for operational efficiencies and effective risk management • Develop tax analyses and reports based on business understanding • Collaborate with departments and divisions to resolve business issues • Adhere to the company’s internal controls framework • May manage, mentor, train, and motivate staff to achieve performance standards and appropriate customer service

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent education/experience • Eight years of tax accounting experience • In-depth knowledge of assigned tax specialty • Analytical and critical thinking skills • Excellent communication skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment • Advanced computer skills • Minimal to occasional travel may be required • Supervisory experience preferred
